Funeral services for Doris Estella Weber, 92, of Whitehouse, will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home chapel with Father Augustine Tharappel officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Doris passed away March 2, 2019, in Whitehouse, Texas. She was born December 28, 1926, in Madison, SD, to the late David Pulford and Estella Stone Pulford.
Doris was retired as a cashier at the Convenience Store in Troup. She loved working word finds and crossword puzzles. She liked to supply the grandchildren with candy and cookies, and she loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed going to the coffee shop in Whitehouse and she was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic church, of Whitehouse.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delbert John Weber, daughter, Bonnie Louise Weber Schwader, son-in-law, Kenneth Ralph Umberger, and sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Umberger of Whitehouse; son-in-law, Wade Schwader of Whitehouse; 4 grandchildren, Michael Schwader, Matthew Schwader, Mark Schwader, and Tamera Ineson; 7 great-grandchildren Aiden, Serenity, Destiny, Curtis, Trevor, Trevia and Tavia.
Pallbearers will be Gary Fields, Randy Robinson, George Aiken, Kenneth Moody, Larry Archer, and Thomas Archer.
Visitation will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
