Funeral services for Marcela Garcia Larios will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Whitehouse, Texas with Father Luke officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, with Rosary at 7:00 pm.

Marcela was born June 2, 1957, in Mexico City, Mexico and went to be with Jesus on February 27, 2026 in Tyler, Texas.

Marcela was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucio Garcia and Albina Larios and sister, Martha Garcia.

She is survived by her husband Francisco Montenegro of Whitehouse; son Jesus Montenegro of Whitehouse; siblings, Maria Ocampo, Lourdes Medina, Margarita Perez, Miriam Tornes, Lucia Nava, Oscar Garcia, Arturo Garcia, Juan Garcia, Enrique Garcia, Veronica Garrido, Bertha Garrido and Ivonne Garrido. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Los servicios funerarios de Marcela García Larios serán a la 12:30 pm, el martes 3 de marzo de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica Príncipe de Paz, Whitehouse, Texas, con el Padre Luke oficiando.

El velatorio será de 5:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., el lunes 2 de marzo de 2026, en Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, con el rosario a las 7:00 p. m.

Marcela nació el 2 de junio de 1957 en la Ciudad de México, México y se fue a estar con Dios el 27 de febrero de 2026 en Tyler, Texas.

Marcela era ama de casa, disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y la extrañaremos por siempre.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Lucio García y Albina Larios y su hermana, Martha García.

Le sobreviven su esposo Francisco Montenegro de Whitehouse; hijo Jesús Montenegro de Whitehouse; hermanos, María Ocampo, Lourdes Medina, Margarita Pérez, Miriam Tornes, Lucía Nava, Oscar García, Arturo García, Juan García, Enrique García, Verónica Garrido, Bertha Garrido e Ivonne Garrido. También le sobreviven numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas, otros familiares y amigos.
