Funeral services for Jill Starks will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 23, 2026 at Cottle Funereal Home Troup, Texas with Reverend Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial to follow at Bascom Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Jill was born March 1, 1953, in Tyler, Texas and went to be with Jesus on February 18, 2026 in Tyler, Texas.

Jill was an Apache Bell for Tyler Junior College and worked as a teacher for Tyler ISD for 26 years. She was a member of Lake Tyler Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Jewell Griffith Davis and husband Ronald Starks.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Starks and JoAnn of Winona, Ramsey Starks and wife Bethany of Bullard, and Lindsey Wall of Tyler; grandchildren, Jose Starks, Jaylin Starks, Grayson Starks, Maverick Starks, Conner Wall, Cooper Wall and wife Jeanette, Keely Sinquefield, Darby Starks and Claire Starks, Audrey Starks, and Bridgette Starks; sister, Judy Burleson of Lindale; sisters-in-laws, Marla Rhodes and husband Charlie of Mixon, Sharon Clark and husband Sam of New Summerfield, and brother-in-law, Roger Starks of Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
